Nebl ist ein Entwurf, der aus einem Gefühl heraus entstanden ist: dem Moment, in dem Nebel über einer Landschaft liegt und die Dinge nicht verdeckt, sondern ihnen eine neue Tiefe gibt. Diese Zwischenform von Sichtbarkeit und Verhüllung hat mich interessiert.

Die Vase besteht aus einem Keramik Topf und einer sandgestrahlten Glaskuppel. Die Kuppel legt sich wie ein Filter über das Arrangement im Inneren. Sie verlangsamt den Blick und macht aus Blumen oder Zweigen keine Dekoration, sondern Teil eines stillen Bildes.

Für mich geht es bei Nebl nicht um Funktion allein. Es geht um Aufmerksamkeit. Um das, was entsteht, wenn man hinsieht und gerade nicht alles sofort erkennt. Die Vase schafft einen Moment der Reduktion, der Konzentration. Sie ist nicht laut, nicht vordergründig. Aber sie verändert die Atmosphäre eines Raumes spürbar.

Nebl was born from a simple feeling: the way fog changes a landscape — not by hiding it, but by giving it a new depth. I was interested in that space between visibility and concealment.

The vase is made of a ceramic planter and a sandblasted dome. The dome acts like a filter, softening the contents inside. It slows the gaze and shifts the flowers or branches from decoration to quiet composition.

For me, Nebl is not just about function. It’s about attention. About what happens when we look — or when something asks us not to look too quickly. The vase creates a moment of reduction and focus. It doesn’t demand presence, but it changes the atmosphere of a space in a subtle but tangible way.

Through the collaboration with Gejst, I was able to turn this idea into a product. Nebl is part of a way of thinking that sees design not as a style, but as an attitude: sensitive, clear, and consciously reduced.
